Fellow make-up addicts, (I'm assuming so because, well, you're reading a make-up post) I'm sure you have heard of Benefit's new Brow Collection. Well, you definitely should have if you take this stuff as seriously as the rest of us. Brows are in. Did you not get the memo?

Nyx Lipstick Lingerie: Baby Doll

Review on Nyx Cosmetics Lip Lingerie in Baby Doll. A nude matte lipstick.

I've heard about Nyx Lingerie for a while now, especially after joining a group on Facebook dedicated to make-up addicts.

To my pure joy, Boots opened a Nyx counter in their Cardiff store, and it's massive. I was so happy, seriously. Anyway, I picked up a Lipstick Lingerie in Baby Doll which is a nice nude colour and decided to test them out for myself.

L'Oreal Superliner Superstar: Is this the perfect eyeliner for beginners?

I know, I suck. I'm sorry for my leaf of absence, I've been a tad distracted lately! But a plus - I've bought a ton of new make-up. Not so much of a plus for my bank account - sorry not sorry.

So, on to why I've began my ramblings; I've been practicing hard on my winged eyeliner. I'm getting there, slowly, but surely. I invested in L'Oreal Paris Superliner Superstar Eye Liner in black. I thought this "looks pretty simple", and it has an amazing shape pen nib so thought it would be perfect for beginners to try and perfect that winged cat eye look. It was also only £6.99, so definitely worth a go, right?

My thoughts worked out exactly, and it was definitely an easy application.

Topshop Highligher: Crescent Moon

My search for an amazing highlighter that doesn't break the bank brought me to Topshops range. But how does it pan out?

As you probably know highlighters are the new must have beauty product. I recently went to a Topshop blogging event for Ivy Park, and before we got round to checking out the clothes, we took a look at their makeup range. I was definitely surprised at what they had on offer, and they seemed really good! So, I went and bought one of their highlights in Crescent Moon for a bargain price of £10.

8 Lazy Girl Beauty Hacks

I'm a busy girl, and sometimes a good beauty hack is just what I need to make sure I can sleep in as much as possible and spend the day not looking like I only took the 15 minutes to get ready that I actually did (although sometimes, this definitely shines through).

What are these 'hacks' I hear you cry? Well, you lucky bunch, I divulge;

Pale Skin Foundation For Under £10

Beauty, foundation, make up, pale skin, blogger, max factor, rimmel, lasting finish, tilbury, estee lauder, loreal

If you've read some of my other posts, you'll know that I'm very pale. Not even a Mac NC15 is a match for my ivory skin. I've searched long and hard for a foundation that's something I can wear on a daily basis, at an affordable price. However, I definitely got to a point where I didn't care about the price tag (fellow light-skinned ladies, I know you'll know the struggle). I'm putting this stuff on my face every day, so I could definitely justify it, and my search just didn't seem to find me what I wanted. As my skin is so light you can literally see every single blemish, which means I need really good coverage.

Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara

I'm the type of person who has spent years looking for each of my individual make-up products. I don't stick with a particular brand, I don't have a fave (although, some come quite close!). I have a total mix of brands in my make-up draw. It's an uphill battle for foundation still, but that's for another blog post!

Pixi by Petra Mattelustre Lipstick - Pure Fuchsia

I'm not much of a lipstick person, I'll be honest. I've always lived by the philosophy that it's either eyes or lips. If I wear both, I look like a drag queen, which is just not the look I'm going for. And I'm way more of an eyeshadow typa gal any way.

The one time I did try to be adventurous and leap out of my comfort zone with both the eyes and lips, I coincidentally ended up in a Gay Bar with a Drag Queen. She quickly pointed me out and asked if I worked in Boots because it looked like I'd tested all the colours on my face.

So, point proven. Advice taken. Nuh.

I've gone through the phases of just wearing very natural make-up and some popping lipstick. Usually I've gone for a red on a nice warm day, and I've really liked it. It's always a confidence thing with me though, so this is few and far between! On this occasion, I've got a 'Pure Fuchsia'* and oh, it's daring.
